Too Many Seers

Hearing is void the limits of direction. Sight is not. Hence the expression “you don’t have eyes in the back of your head”.
Often times something needs to be directly in front of you to see it clearly. If you can’t see clearly you change positions. However you can hear something from any direction, many times without changing positions. The body will automatically silence its surroundings to hear better but it may never move.
So here’s my point: There are way too many seers and not enough hearers.
Sight is limited.

Hearing is void the limit of direction. If you are showing me something you need to be in front of me so I can see. If you are telling me something you don’t necessarily have to be in front of me. Things in life may not always be clear. Things in life may not always be right in front of you. If that’s solely how you trust, you will always be limited.
God highlights in his word Hearers. “How can they can hear without a preacher. Be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer. My sheep know my voice and a strangers voice they will not follow.” He also highlights seers. “We walk by faith and NOT BY SIGHT.“ Is seeing bad, no. However hearing gives texture to the things we can and can not see. Hearing takes the limits off of our trust. Hearing requires a different level of trust. God is calling for the heart of the hearers.
Those He has called already has an ear to hear!
